Michelle’s design approach is personalized and tailored to the needs of each client. She views every celebration as a unique opportunity to help her clients express themselves creatively by working with them one on one to design an event aesthetic that is reflective of their taste, style, and personality. Michelle is known for her ability to identify the unique details that will eventually set the stage for a one-of-a-kind celebration both her clients and their guests will cherish for a lifetime.

A native to Utah, Michelle grew up in a small town surrounded by a loving family and supportive friends. “My close-knit community helped me develop a lasting appreciation for life’s defining moments and joy for celebrating important milestones through the years. I learned at a very early age that I value experiences like gathering together with family on Sunday afternoons to chat about the week as we devoured Mom’s delicious dinners and Grandma’s homemade brownies.

As an adult, I still find comfort in the little things, and staying connected to the people I love fuels my energy and zest for life, and my business. It’s a privilege owning a company where our highest priority is connecting with others and helping our clients prepare to celebrate with their loved ones. We do more than simply design and plan events; we help our clients celebrate life's most joyous moments through the creation of personalized experiences that allow our clients, and their guests, to focus on what truly matters all while making memories that last.”

Michelle launched Michelle Leo Events in 2010 as a two-person operation, executing only a handful of events her first two years. In 2017, the company had grown so much that Michelle’s focus shifted from planning, and she followed her creative passion further into event design, making way for her executive planning team to oversee all event logistics and production. Thirteen years later, Michelle Leo Events has produced over 2,000 weddings and events in 4 different states at multiple five-star resorts and luxury event venues, and has served a wide variety of clients across the globe. Michelle Leo Events is located in Utah with a satellite branch in Dallas, Texas.
