Kara loves having a hand in planning and creating events that are beyond compare, whether it be a family member’s birthday, a themed party for friends, or for her wonderful MLE brides. 

FUN FACT: Kara is a thrill seeker! She'll never pass up an opportunity to jump out of an airplane or join someone on a raft roaring down some class five rapids. If you dig an adrenaline rush and aren't afraid to take some exciting risks, Kara is along for the ride! This girl loves adventure and will make sure your event is a thrill of a lifetime!

Kara graduated from the University of Utah, with a Bachelors of Science in Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality Management. Having worked in customer service for many years, Kara learned how to focus on creating the best experience for others and make the customer experience as memorable as possible. With a diverse background in corporate, athletic, academic, and private planning, Kara is sure to help her clients create an everlasting memory, regardless of the type of celebration.

Kara was born and raised in the beach town of Ventura, CA. She moved to Utah to experience everything the four seasons have to offer and describes it as a decision she will never regret (neither will Team MLE). Most recently, Kara built her dream home in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. She spends her time between Texas and Utah planning and executing events in both locations. Kara is recently engaged and has 3 fur babies. Their family of 5 enjoys spending as much time outdoors as schedules allow. Some of their favorite activities include taking a long hike or going camping, though “nothing beats a nice day out on the lake.”

Kara has fallen in love with the wedding side of the event industry and loves being constantly surrounded by the blissfulness and elegance these events have to offer. She loves to go above and beyond to make sure the people around her are genuinely satisfied, and planning weddings provides her the perfect opportunity to bring this passion to life.
