Elegant September Wedding in a Tidewater Tent at Montage Deer Valley | Soojeong & Michael
Soojeong and Michael’s wedding at Montage Deer Valley was a true fusion of tradition and elegance. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Utah mountains, the dual ceremonies celebrated both Jewish and Korean customs, creating a day filled with love, respect, and cultural richness. The romantic tented reception featured warm golden hues, twinkle lights, and a lively atmosphere with heartfelt toasts and live music. Montage Deer Valley provided the perfect blend of luxury and scenic beauty, making their day unforgettable.
Outdoor Ceremony
The couple first said “I do” in an outdoor ceremony under a floral covered chuppah and with the mountains as their backdrop. Following a beautiful Jewish ceremony, honoring the groom and his family, everyone transitioned to a traditional Korean Paebaek ceremony, honoring the bride and her family. We absolutely loved the blend of traditions represented in the dual ceremonies.
At the conclusion of the ceremonies, guests enjoyed cocktails on the lawn before making their way into the tent for dinner, dessert, and dancing.
Tented Wedding Reception
The decor featured twinkle lights hanging overhead, crisp white linens on the tables, and floral centerpieces filled with fresh blooms in shades of golden yellow, blush, ivory, and just a touch of orange.
The evening continued with heartfelt toasts, the couple’s first dance as husband and wife, and dancing to the sounds of a live band. It was a truly beautiful day from start to finish.
