Alyssa & Jacob's Swedish Inspired Ranch Wedding

Alyssa and Jacob's Blue Sky Ranch wedding was a fresh breath of air as we transformed the space into a soft, romantic setting infused with details inspired by the groom’s Swedish heritage and the bride’s love for French design.

Guests gathered to celebrate a fun-loving couple with a really special story. The groom is Swedish and has many family members who made the long journey to Utah to celebrate. An old and adorable Swedish custom is for the bride to carry coins in her shoes. One silver coin in her left shoe from her father and one gold coin in her right from her mother are used to ensure that she will never go without. Custom coins were created to serve as the “escort cards” for the evening as the number on the coin represents the assigned table. Guests also got to enjoy a personalized detail because each coin included their name.

While guests enjoyed dinner, the escort card boards were popped out of the frames and replaced with personalized NY Broadway playbill style prints showing the bride and groom as the stars of the show (another special location and piece of the couple’s story). Guests then re-entered this side of the room for dessert where they got to enjoy the playbills.

The rustic ranch vibes and elegant details created the most incredible ambiance. Whitewash wood tables created the perfect canvas for a pop of color, which made the floral even more vibrant and refreshing.

One of our favorite details were the custom blue patterned linens and matching napkins. You'll also notice inspiration from the pattern in the fabric incorporated into the invitation design, menu, table numbers, place cards, and more.

Creating the illusion of one centerpiece, lush floral chandeliers were suspended directly over the tall centerpieces placed on our round tables, while the long wood tables featured lower centerpieces, overflowing with fresh blooms. Together, the look was both unique and beautiful.

We absolutely love all of the personal and unique details included in this gorgeous ranch wedding securing its place as one of our favorites for a long time to come.
