2017 Utah Bride & Groom White Party

Last year, the Michelle Leo Events team had the pleasure of designing and executing the White Party for Utah Bride & Groom Magazine where 275 vendors gathered to celebrate Utah's amazing industry professionals.

The Eccles Performing Arts Center, Downtown SLC's new showstopper, is such an open and contemporary space that we wanted the event design to have the same contemporary feel with a splash of elegance, keeping in line with Utah's wedding industry.

By adding pops of green to the overall color palette, the event design offered depth to the otherwise white space of the theater lobby. Gold accents provided warmth to the space and complemented the rich tones of the mostly-green centerpieces. Geodes paired with air plants, succulents, and lush greens elevated the scene.

String-art signage and table numbers, made by our very own team member, BillieJo, and walls made of faux-greenery that served as the backdrop for the models and other photo-ops offered visual appeal and a creative design approach to typically traditional elements.

We can't forget to mention our favorite design elements of the event, including the stunning deep green velvet linens, the modern tic-tac-toe games in the lounge area, and the show stopping makeup "masks," inspired by the colorful balconies in the venue, all captured so beautifully by Pepper Nix.

Be sure to pick up the Winter/Spring 2018 issue of Utah Bride & Groom magazine, on newsstands now, to see the feature for yourself!
